I have the 09 SUB. I like it except the little pins that hold the corners together. Now I have a trailer and don't fold it up it works good.

No experience with the rope, I just use Killer weed. Then field stubble

I have the FA stubble ropes. Got em CHEAP at Cabelas back last end of season sale. They are nice IF you hunt cron rows as you can line it up with the rows and the colors are a very good match. HOWEVER, I did have to take each of the five strips and hot glue the burlap and raffia as to me it seems they would simply fall apart if I didn't. Are they worth the full price of I believe 60 bucks or so? HECK NO!! But if you find em for around half that, and are willing to put in a hour or so with the hot glue gun, yup. Now they are durrable as well as functional and when I don't want them on my blind I just role em up on an 18" piece of 1x6 and throw em in the trailer...

Nothing...unless you get the pack and go version that breaks down smaller and is built a little lighter. The big difference was when they (FA) updated the blind in 2007. The older 2006 models were still nice. The 09' was a little easier to pack, had a zippered foot bag and if I remember right the 06's only came in tan and had a little heavier, more rigid frame than the 07' and newr models. Anybody else got anything I forgot?

the 09 folds smaller due to pull apart connections in the doors. I have done away with this feature because one side broke and everytime you close the doors they would turn and the top half didn't close all the way

I don't know about colors back then, but mine came in Prairie Yellow or something. I had to paint the sh** out of it to darken it. It looked like a neon sign when the sun hit it.

The 06's came in a few different colors. I think this was the first year that folded into a backpack. From there on they really didn't change the design to much expect with the pack'n go that folded up a little smaller. My older 04 just folds flat and doesn't have a zippered foot bag but the design and supports are all the same again.

I love the blinds for the price. I think rogers sporting goods even as a few of the 06's in camo left.
