Not to me cut. Lol, a little out of my price range tho. I'm not that great on a goose call, but I use the Double Nasty II for ducks.

cut, that is true. I really do like my lanyard so far and the moneymaker made a pretty big dent on the wallet so I have to wait a while before I can buy the smh. Friday night I was at the new basspro in hanover/ashland and I blew an eastern shoreman for the first time and it wasnt that bad, alot different but it sounded pretty good.

I tend to go with the short reeds and like the Zink line of calls. I too have a ES and do like it being so mellow. The clucks sound so good

Cut, what is your shoreman made out of, I blew a curley maple one at bass pro, but I cant fork over 180 bucks for that but Ill have one eventually. As for where I hunt, usually over fields and occasionally when we are invited by my dads friend We hunt in a swamp. Ive had my Moneymaker for about a month and I just cant get over the flared insert.

I'll tell ya what I think....for whats it worth. I carry a "high pitched short reed" and the flute. Most folks will have short reeds and most guys like the lower pitches. Soooo, I don't consider myself a great caller so I tend to back up the better callers hunting on any given day. With a higher pitch or the flute...I sound a little different. Seems to work for us.

Well I'm not very good...at all, but I use the Buck Gardner Canada Hammer II. As for ducks, I use the Double Nasty II and recently got an RNT for my bday and LOVE it. Tried it out on Gaston a few times last weekend when ducks would fly over and turned quite a few around for a 2nd look. Who knows wat would have happened with decoys out and some camo on...

all the hype is about the strait meat honker, but I liked the high plains honker better dont know why but I did. Lucky for me the Ashland Basspro is'nt too far from me so I can go up there and have a little fun with all the calls they have and see what I like.
