Duck Call

Postby Geese Gone Wild » Mon Jan 09, 2012 9:28 pm

What are you guys using?
I'm thinking about stepping it up to a acrylic call, I'm tired of my double nasty sticking. I'm leaning towards a RNT but not sure. I can't give any a run as of now due to Gander crap hole mtn not carrying #%@^!. Luckily Cabela's opens in the spring can't wait.

Good post. I'm in the same boat...

I'm trying to decide between the RNT Original, Short Barrel, Daisey Cutter, or Diablo... Leaning heavy on the short barrel at this point.

I got the RNT Shortbarrel last year and I wished I had this call when I 1st started hunting. I really don't think you would regret it. I've tried other calls, but this is really the only call I use. Great call, great sound... go get it!

Might want to change the name of this forum from goose calling, to Winglock calls forum. Should be charging them for advertising on here.
My wife says she doesn't like things jammed down her throat ,and you know what I don't either.

I might just have to give them a try already. I think Dick's sporting goods carries them I'll have to check...

Changing calls probably won't help with the sticking...I can stick every duck call I've ever tried. Some are better than others, but my calling technique sucks, so eventually, my calls stick. I ran an RNT shortbarrel and daisycutter this fall; loved them both; stuck them both more than once.

You did ask what other guys were using. Happens he uses a Winglock. I, on the other hand, don't own a duck call. But if sticking is a problem then I think I might take a quack at Buck Gardner's line of spit tech calls. Or I would give consideration to Field Proven calls.

Hahahahaha, Not 100% sure but I think Rick is a sponsor.
Try them out at Dicks but if you want a a call that is just as good, order a poly carb call. Looks and sound just like an acrylic...I have 3 of them and are my go to calls....well above and beyond my acrylics.
