The DSDs have a better look i my opion. The only problem with DSD is the prices. My friend on the Avery Prostaff said the new ones look extaordinary. You can check em out on AveryOutdoors Facebook page. I uploaded one of the photos to also check out. My plan is to wait and buy a bunch of the pro-grades and ffds when they go on sale. I just started building my spread this last year. I have 36 goose and 36 duck decoys. Bad news is there were no birds around this year.

GHG's look like decoys, DSD look like real birds.

Couldn't of said it any better. Realism is not even comparable.
If I was a goose I would want to land in my decoys.

Exactly, its like comparing a Ferrari to a Chevy. While both are good, hands down DSD's are better looking in every aspect.

Amen to that! Absolutely zero comparison there. DSDs are the bench mark to which all other decoys are compared...and fall short. Btw...anybody else see this going loooooong into another DSD vs. every other decoy thread again?...

Have they finalized the prototypes yet Sean and are they replacing the old FFD's or are these going to be an additional model in the line up?

Don't want to comment to much on a line change because I don't want to put out any info that is false. From what I have been hearing lately, everything possible is being done to make sure these decoys are in production for next season. As for how excited everyone at Avery is about these decoys I would say they are a go. The prototypes that I hunted over were unbelievable. When I last talked to Field, the Head connection is what was being worked on at the moment. Don't know anything about a price point yet, but I hear it will pretty darn good.

My Avery FFD's haven't turned green at all. I've had them for 4years now, and other than showing some normal head wear, they're in great shape. Not sure if they fixed that issue since they came out with the darker body style, but I've yet to see an FFD turn green with my own eyes. I've seen pictures, but all the ones I've hunted over have been fine.

Unless that Chevy is a Corvette, its better looking and faster.

Never seen an FFD turn green, or heard of it for that matter. I have seen some older hunter series and pro grade heads turn a little brownish color.
