hevi shot!!!!! I purchased the two pack with medium range, extreme range. truly one of the best products i have purchased I too have a benneli super nova. I took out a goose that a buddy shot once, he bucked it and it got out about 45 or so yards when i hit it it had its back to me and i folded it like it was 15 yards away. I was shooting hevi metal 3 1/2 number 2. If you get a chance try there shells i am impressed.

^ made by Carlson's! :goodtimes:

I shoot Carlson's extended steel chokes in my 870 and my new Maxus they both have the Carlson's MOD/ mid-range extended steel chokes in them at the moment, and have all season! they pattern great and have always been great to me, not to mention they are cheaper than other chokes of less quality.

you'll most likely want an extended choke as the longer parallel section will produce a more consistent pattern and more evenly distributed pattern.

In that case, there are plenty of good choke options out there. I own Patternmaster, Briley, and Carlson's. Each have +/-. As long as you're not just spending $90 thinking that an aftermarket choke will instantly make you a better shooter, you'll be fine. Might take a few different loads to find the one that patterns good but its worth it when you find 5 or 6 loads that all pattern better than what your previous choke could do.

^^ ha no i know a choke isn't the magical cure to make you not miss. im not to worried about long rage shooting i wont shoot anything over 40 yrds so a choke that holds a good pattern at 35 is what im interested in

TRUTH!!! It IS nice when you find a choke that will shoot more than a few loads really well isn't it?
