Cabelas Northern Flight Boat Blind

Postby Fox_hunter42 » Wed Dec 28, 2011 6:56 pm

Has anyone ever hunted out of one? The opening at the top looks small, are they hard to get out of to shoot?

I use one its a bit tight but not too bad. It can be set up several different ways to give more space. The best way to get the most shooting space is to install the roof.Downside to roof is shooting behind you becomes next to impossible.

I have one on my boat, never been an issue. The support bar has a couple different holes to pick what you like. You can also add an extra hole if you'd like. Myself,do not use the holes. I have use a couple bungie cords to hold the top..... I can have it up,take it down in a second or two, easier for chasing cripples or getting set up in a hurry and in the dark.

Around here, the smaller the hole the better. Birds like to fly over and look into the blinds. If they can see in they are gone.
Luckily I keep my feathers numbered for such and occasion.

all good info, unfortuneatly I turned down the deal. We have very little public water to hunt without driving along way.
