One more question on these. Are the stands permanently attached to the decoy or do you have to put the stake in the ground and then the decoy on that when in the field?

The stakes hold just fine for putting them in the ground, but you can slide the stakes in and out on the decoy. You can reverse the stake for a lower profile or higher profile decoy depending on your hunting conditions.

I received my sample yesterday after contacting Al the day before....amazingly fast! So far an A+ on customer service. IMO the decoy looks great. Very dark so it sticks out very good from a distance especially in the snow, but the detail is still there. I'm very impressed w these and will definetly be ordering some in the near future.

Sorry for the late word...I recieved my sample as well, about a week or so ago. Good decoy, big with good color.
One thing I'm impressed with, it's been neglectided in the bed of my truck since....with blinds, other decoys, a deer cart, stake punches, dust and dirt. Surprisingly, it only has a few scuff marks on it.
I don't hunt geese, I just act like I do in the internet.

Guys, I'll be hunting over them tomorrow with my nephew. I got a new camera for Christmas and I hope to get myabe a few action shots with something OTHER than my Droid Phone! A can say that so far I have been impressed with the overall quality of these decoys. Not perfect, but pretty darn good imo. A couple guys I talked to tried to compare them to RG...thing is, even the lowest end RG silo is still twice the price and only carries a bit more detail. Let's hope we have birds in the air tomorrow and hopefully I can finish a few more! I have been corresponding with Al regularly throughout this proccess and he has had some good suggestions regarding his decoys. I will of course put them to use and post up what I find. Good luck in the late season guys!

I received my sample decoys only a couple days after requesting them. They look really nice. I am excited to get them outside. I will most def be buying a couple dozen lessers. I am going to experiment with flocking on the samples.

Thanks for the samples Al! That's confidence in your product. You need to get a facebook page up and running. The number of potential customers you can reach is staggering.

Here are a couple of pics of decoys that Al flocked (heads and tails). In the picture of two dekes, the one on the left is flocked. On the right, unflocked. These were taken in direct sunlight.
