Canadian Tire in Wheyburn would not sell us a license this year. We did not have some health number. I'm from the States they dont give us a health card. I showed her my reciept from last years purchase and it was from the same Canadian Tire ! Wow what a way to feel welcome. Went downtown to a realy nice Sporting goods store and got a license with no problem.

That's a good reason to order the license by phone and have it mailed to you. I do that every year.
I bought an ameritek camo cover and cut it in half and attatched some rafia grass to it to cover my portable stadium seats to it in my future compact jeep wrangler. I have to figure a way to hinge it so I can flip it off and shoot.

I'm trying to buy another HK Original Super Black Eagle for a back up. Man I LOVE that gun...
I forgot to add, a highly figured deep grain Hedge Triple Crown and it's on the way.

The trucks out of room. I own 42 canada decoys and have 9 old snow shells too(I am a dark goose and duck hunter). Got a layout blind a honker, speck, snow and a lot of duck calls. 99% of the time I use just the canada call. The back seat of the truck is full of decoys and the bed is filled with the blind and decoys. The truth is I probably would buy more but I am only 18 and in college right now, so I can't be blowing my money. With that being said I had amazing success last yr with what I have.

Also when I am all done school I going to build a snow spread. That should make up for not buying anything in the last couple of yrs lol. I am also going to add another 1dz canada shells too, but that will be it. Oh and maybe a Mojo mallard and maybe some floater duck decoys.

That is the approach I used when I was young and at University of Sask. I made due with the hand me downs from my Dad 1 1/2 GH decoys shells and an old 870 wing master. When I finished university there was a brief lull except on holidays when I went home in Sask. Only in the ast 15 years I really got motivated and used spare cash to buy equipment still I made equipment and decoys and tried to build duck snow goose and canada spreads such my suv was full and I won't be adding any more decoys to buy (I still have space a tiny nook left for some action type snow decoys. Of course I will be buying some more ammo if the price is right.

My Cabela's gift cards from Christmas were burning a hole in my wallet, so I took advantage of some sales and got a Cabela's Revolution™ Fleece Dry-Plus® Insulated Waterfowl Pullover and Cabela's Waderwise™ Deluxe Wader Liner Pants. Its great to have 3 kids who know Cabela's gift cards will make their dad happy... :D

Well after going on two snow goose hunts recently I believe I will be buying some snowgoose deeks next year...I'll probably be living in my truck after my girl finds out so holla if you need me. Literally holla cause I prob won't have a phone either.
If I was a goose I would want to land in my decoys.

Switching to Bigfoots and Real Geese. Time to get rid of the GHGs. Other than that, maybe a new trailer, but thats it. No need to invest anymore, as I have bigger plans this year.
BTW, if anyone is interested, I am just putting up 35 GHG Pro grade and Hunter series honkers with 6 slot bags. I just need to get a count of what poses I have, and I'll put em in the classifieds.
