2 More Guys Hooked On Honkers

a friend of mine was supposed to take one of his buddies out from his work today along with his son to goose hunt but ended up not being able to make it cuz he ended up having to work lol

these 2 guys have never been in a goose blind nor thought they could hunt geese until they watched on youtube how cool it was...
my buddy reffered them to me since i had free time on my hands from being in college yet and i offered to take them out

they were completely legal with the migratory stamps and duck stamps as well as the steel shot

i had 2 extra blinds so i got everything set up for them for their first hunt and we limited out 3 guys in 2 hours

i did take a gun with me but we had pairs of geese and singles trickle in so i let the other guys shoot them
HOWEVER, we did get a nice flock of atleast 20 birds to come in and come within 10 feet and throw down the landing gear so i did shoot my 3 birds today
being it was the last day of the goose season for my local area in PA, the father and son were very thankful and very polite


it was nice to see the other people shooting birds and they listened very well when i said "dont move your head! when i tell you to shoot the birds they will be right in front of you so just come out guns hot!"

younghonker watch what you post and how you say it. I'm not meaning anything by this, its just that some people will pick out that you only claim to have shot 1 goose out of 9 which means that the 2 newbies for there first hunt they shot over their limit. I know when you shoot as a group its hard to say who shot what, but with only 2 guys shooting thats a different story. I think its great of you to take out the new guys. I just think I would have left out the who shot what part.
